ROTARY FUNDRAISING: OTHER EVENTS
Rotary Club of New Glasgow frequently facilitates additional fundraising for Rotary designated charities through various means. Previous and ongoing projects involve various Club Members and local businesses, such as a Winter Golf event held at the Abercrombie Golf Course and then the Sobey’s Soccer Stadium over five years.
Other continuing projects include various Chase the Ace events, Black Tie Bingo, a Simon and Garfunkel tribute concert, and the Car Ralley for Extending Hope in 2008.
Both one-off events and continuing projects helped attract a solid core of participants from the public.
